Finally!!!! Right Ashley?

Ok, so I am completely new to this whole blogging thing but one of my dearest friends insists on me getting started and what better time to do so than while my husband is away at OTS.

While I’m not exactly sure what to write about, it has been an extremely busy couple of months for me so I’m sure I can figure something out…

It all started 5 months ago (to the day) when my high-school sweetheart and the love of my life, Justin, proposed to me in the sweetest, most perfect way I could have ever possibly imagined!!

Only 2 months after that we both graduated from Texas A&M University- WHOOP!!! Myself with an Early Childhood Education degree and J with a degree in Aerospace Engineering (he’s a brainiac!)

And then, ONE week later we became Mr. and Mrs.!!! It was the wedding of our dreams- an evening filled with fun, friends and family!!!

Then it was off to a fabulous honeymoon thanks to my new in-laws!! A 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbeans- Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel.  Justin had been on a cruise this past summer with his family but this was my first time and boy was it a blast!! The food was wonderful and the excursions were amazing!! We can’t wait to go back! =)

And finally, the most recent event- Justin left 2 days ago for OTS at Maxwell AFB.  He will be gone for 12 dreadful weeks so hopefully this blog will become a great outlet for me… It was extremely hard to say goodbye but I keep reminding myself that this is just 3 short months that will get him even closer to his dream of becoming a fighter pilot in the AF!!

I figured to understand anything that I have to say over the next few months you would need to know how much of a whirlwind the past few months have been!  Memories have been made in those last 5 months that I will never ever forget and that I will always hold near and dear to my heart!  But now that I have caught up to the present, hopefully my next post can be a lil more exciting =)
