Kemp Kiddos

These ADORABLE kiddos will always hold a dear, dear place in my heart!! So dear, that I actually fear not falling in love with my own class someday as much as I have them!! They are the coolest kids you will ever meet with the most heart wrenching stories you will ever hear!!  I do not know what I will do when I’m living too far away to visit them every now and then.  It was everything I had in me not to take them home with me when I left!!!

i am: debating going home early bc I’m getting nothing done and don’t feel too great.

i have: the best husband in the world! He made my day today!
i wish: my allergies would go away!

i miss: my husband!!! He’s been gone for 7 weeks, 5 more to go! =(
i fear: losing my husband!
i feel: bad for leaving my space heater at work on over the weekend one time!!!
i hear: my computer humming bc that’s how quiet and unsocial our office is!
i smell: NOTHING!!! Hardly ever can! It’s weird and annoys J! Sorry!
i crave: not very many things but if I do it’s almost always fried rice from Shogun’s!
i search: the internet daily for tips on being an air force wife and how to make everything go smoothly!
i wonder: how much longer it will be before my wedding album is ready?!?! AHH!
i regret: not taking better care of my car when I was a teenager bc now it’s falling apart!
i ache: in my knuckles and wrists bc I think I am fighting off fever! Ugh!
i care: about my faith! It’s the rock that gets me through!!
i always: have my gmail acct open so Ashley can talk to me while I’m at work! Haha!
i am not: ready for kids and that scares me!
i believe: that every child is born with the desire and passion to learn and that it is my responsibility as a teacher to keep that fire alive and well!  
i dance: hardly ever! But, if so, country and only with my husband! He’s the best!
i sing: in the car where no one can hear! =)
i cry: when I least expect it and it’s really embarassing!
i don’t always: go to the gym and I should!!!
i fight: ?!?!, allergies around this time every year?
i write: emails to my husband at OTS daily!
i never: made a 101 in 1001 list like Ashley told me to! I need to!

i need: my husband to come home bc I’m not feeling good and his arms around me would definitely help!

i am happy about: going to SA this weekend with Ashley and to CS next weekend to see my Kemp Kiddos!!!

I LOVE MY HUBBY!!

Just got a “you’re a good wife” email from J and it made my day!!!!  Man, oh man, do I love him!!!

Allergies are kicking my butt right now and so it made me think about him bc we typically have problems with allergies around the same times of the year.  I knew that if he got sick bc of allergies and had to be out sick for a couple of days it would kill him!! He would stress about it which would only make the problem worse, so I sent him a quick email this morning reminding him to be aware of his allergies and to start taking Zyrtec/Zyrtec D at the first sign of any problems to avoid ear infection (our most common issue! ughhh poor future kiddos!).  He ended up writing me back that I was “awesome” and that I take “such good care of him”.  He was impressed that I was thinking about his allergies even when he is 9 hours away.  haha! What can I say, I love him and I love him even more that he is sweet enough to be appreciative of that and to write me back saying so!!

He definitely made my day!! Can’t wait to have him back!! 5 weeks from tomorrow! AHHH! =)

Scratch that..

ok already changed my mind…my first name alone was too plain and boring…plus i’m a newlywed so i’m all about using the new last name at any given oppurtunity! =)

Sitting here bored…random thoughts…

#1: Ashley and I are headed to San Antonio to visit my Dad this weekend, and of course, do some very necessary outlet mall shopping!! I am super excited, but the pocketbook is less so.  This past weekend I went to Frisco with my Mom to see my nephew play tee ball (sorry no pics- the fence was impossible to take good pics through…I want a new camera- but first things first- FURNITURE!!) and I spent a LIL too much between Kirklands, DSW, Sam Moon and Paciugo (the best ice cream in the world!!)

#2: Dad called me a few days ago to tell me he had some money to give me bc something to do with the wedding money not being as much as he thought?!?! I dunno, all I heard was “I have some extra money to give you”!! Woohoo! We know what fund that is going towards….=) 

#3: J has been so busy since the start of being LFC (lower flight commander) and it stinks!! He had me spoiled these past couple weeks with all of the long text message convos and now, MAYBE  one or two rushed messages right before he goes to bed (I am glad though that he is finally getting in bed at a decent hour).  Last night he called me!! =) Today is the upperclass’s graduation so all of their wives and familes are in town and apparently walking around base.  J said it made him so jealous bc it just reinforced that he’s only halfway through!! But, I told him it’s only FIVE WEEKS from Friday til we get to see each other and for some reason that sounds so much better than HALF WAY.  He was like “OMG 5 weeks? really?! baby, we’re almost through with this!” haha! It was like the switch in his head went the totally opposite direction from “only halfway” to “we’re almost through” and that was good to hear!

#4:  YAY for Canton in 2 weeks!! There are soooo many things I want since this will be my first time going as a married adult with the mindset of decorating a home!! COULD BE DANGEROUS!!! haha! CAN’T WAIT!!

#5: WAY TO GO US!! I called USAA (a must for any military family) to set up our auto insurance, so now we are officially paying for all of our own bills!!!! WOOHOO!!! Feels so good!!! 

#6: I want one of those signature things my friend Ashley has…I’m going to ask her how she did it!

#7: I’m blabbling and need to quit! byebye =)

Full of good news…

Ok, so a few great things have happened in the past 2 days…

#1- YESTERDAY MARKED ONE MONTH DOWN OF JUSTIN BEING AT OTS!!!!!! =)  We are officially one-third of the way through this!! WOOHOOO!!

#2- Yesterday, I finally made the leap and donated 12 inches of my hair to Locks of Love.  I had been debating for a couple months whether or not to cut my hair and knew that if I could ever work up the nerve to do it, I would want to donate as much as possible to Locks of Love.

#3- Justin sent me a message today saying he is now the new OT Lt. Col. George- Lower Class Flight Commander!!! He is the 2nd highest ranking position at OTS and there are only 4 other ppl (out of 77) that out rank him!! =)  I am sooo sooo super proud!! He is, however, very nervous bc this is a position that in general does lots of yelling and scaring the new OTs (Officer Trainees) that come in.  Justin on the other hand, couldn’t hurt a fly or at least doesn’t lead anyone to believe so.  I think this will be a great experience for him and I am just thrilled =)

Oh and drumroll please….JUSTIN GOT PAID TODAY!!!! haha =) YAY FOR FURNITURE!!! The yelling suddenly becomes a lil easier to take when you have a check in hand to make it worth the while!
